Stone Slabs

Granite

Granite is the hardest natural stone after diamond. The hardness of granite makes it the most ideal material for use in kitchens.
The main component of granite is silica.  In similar proportion to that found in glass, the difference between the two is temperature, pressure and time of crystallisation and of course the creator.
Like marble the chemical composition of granite makes it most friendly in food preparation areas.
The hardness of granite also makes it a substance that is strongly resistant to wear and tear damage.
